Cinzia Monari is an eclectic Italian artist, trained as an operatic soprano at the Conservatories of Florence and Siena. Before focusing on vocal studies, she studied dance and acting, and later graduated in Motor Sciences, developing a broad and multidisciplinary artistic foundation.

Her musical background is highly diverse: alongside her specialization in classical opera, she has explored and performed in folk, jazz, and rock styles, shaping a versatile and contemporary vocal identity. As a singer, she combines technical precision with expressive freedom, drawing from multiple musical traditions.

Cinzia Monari is also a composer and an educator. In recent years, in addition to an intense concert activity throughout Europe, she has been leading masterclasses and conferences in Spain, where she currently lives in Barcelona, promoting the dissemination of operatic culture, especially among younger generations.

Her teaching method integrates her musical training with her background in motor sciences, using body-based exercises specifically designed for singers and musicians. These techniques, developed and tested in her own courses, Voice and Movement, are adaptable to both individual and group vocal settings and aim to enhance body awareness, breath control, posture, and expressive freedom.

She is the conductor of the choir InCanto at the Casa degli Italiani in Barcelona, where she leads a predominantly pop repertoire, further reflecting her openness to cross-genre collaboration and musical innovation.
